The Hatching 4 Schools Programme offers children and adults an opportunity to interact, care for and learn about chickens and their life cycle, from incubation, hatching and finally growth. The school programme lasts for 2 weeks. We supply and deliver fertilized eggs in an incubator, which are just two days off hatching. We also supply a brooder box, heat pad and food so you can watch your chicks develop to the next stage. It is so easy and incredibly rewarding.
With our programme we supply all the equipment you need with no hidden costs. You will receive your batch of fertilised eggs which are 2 days off hatching,incubator,brooder box for viewing once they have hatched, heat pad ,worksheets linked in with the National Curriculum, food and water. We will set up your equipment( this takes about 10 minutes ) check you are happy, then leave you to it to enjoy the experience. Once the programme is over we will collect the chicks and equipment , the chicks are then taken home where they are reared on in a caring and natural environment.
